How do I cleanse and charge my crystals?

  • Moonlight: Leave crystals on a windowsill under the full moon to recharge them with positive energy. 

  • Running water: Hold crystals under a stream of running water to wash away negative energy. 

  • Smudging: Pass crystals through the smoke of burning sage or palo santo to cleanse them. 

  • Saltwater: Soak crystals in a bowl of saltwater (either ocean or table salt mixed with water). 

  • Selenite: Place crystals on a selenite slab to cleanse them with its purifying energy. 

  • Sunlight: For certain crystals, exposure to sunlight can also be used for cleansing, but be aware that some stones can fade in direct sunlight. 

  • Burying in the earth: Bury crystals in soil for a period to absorb negative energy and ground them. 

How often should I cleanse my crystals?

If you feel like your crystals are lacking in energy, it's probably time for a cleanse and recharge. Most people will only do this once per month under a full moon but I always say to just do what feels right for you. Whether you cleanse and charge multiple times a week, or only once a month ~ follow your intuition.

Can certain crystals be used together? Are there any combinations to avoid?

Yes, certain crystals can be used together, but there are also combinations to avoid, as different crystals have distinct energies that can either complement or clash when combined; while not dangerous, using opposing energies together might lessen the intended benefit of each stone by canceling them out. 

Crystal combinations to consider:

Complementary energies:

  • Amethyst and Clear Quartz: Amethyst for calming and Clear Quartz for amplification.

  • Citrine and Aventurine: Citrine for abundance and Aventurine for prosperity.

  • Rose Quartz and Moonstone: Both associated with love and emotional balance.

Opposing energies:

  • Carnelian and Amethyst: Carnelian is associated with energy and passion, while Amethyst is calming and introspective.

How do I choose the right crystal for me?

I've always said follow your intuition, once you are drawn to a Crystal, read the properties and usually something stands out in the properties that resonate with you.  If you are still having trouble, you can also work out what your intentions are, figure out what it is you want from the crystal, what you feel you may be lacking in your life or healing journey and go from there. There really is no right or wrong way of choosing a crystal.

What are the difference between tumbled stones, raw crystals, and polished crystals?

Tumbled stones;

  • Appearance: Smooth, rounded, and polished 

  • Shape: Often have random scratch and chip markings, and may be shaped like spheres, cubes, or ovals 

  • Uses: Easy to work with and display, and can be used for everyday purposes, small enough to pop in handbag, car, bra.

Raw crystals;

  • Appearance: Imperfect, opaque to translucent, and full of natural beauty 

  • Shape: Can vary in size and shape from tiny chips to boulders 

Polished crystals;

  • Appearance: Smooth and shiny, with intensified colour and patterns

  • Uses: Ideal for jewelry, décor, and gifting.

Where do you source your crystals?

All Crystals are hand-chosen with love and intent, through reliable suppliers.

Are the crystals in the photos the exact ones I will receive?

Yes, All crystals uploaded will be the EXACT crystal you will receive. The only time it won't be, will be our hand made crystal packs (as these crystals can vary in shape and size) our bracelets, and any tumbled Crystals we may add to our shop.

What are the sizes and weights of your crystals?

Sizes, and weights will be added on the description of each individual crystal.

What is your return/exchange policy?

Crystal Waters does not offer refunds for change of mind purchases.

Change of mind:

If you decide the item you have purchased isn’t for you within 48 hours of receiving item, we can arrange to offer you a store credit or an exchange - This applies Online and instore orders. To be eligible for a or store credit or exchange your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging - you will need to get in contact with us prior to returning any items to confirm the correct return address.

Returns, exchanges and refunds will not be accepted regarding a crystals natural characteristic, All crystals are different and unique, it is impossible for any crystal to look exactly the same, Crystals also have their own unique shape, structure, perfections and imperfections this includes crystals that are tumbled that may feel rough or like they have a chip but this is in fact part of the stone and the way it was carved - we do out best to capture these in the images we provide.

How long will it take to receive my order?

All orders will be processed as soon as possible. Orders placed after 2pm will be packed and booked for courier pick up the following morning (within opening hours). Once in the hands of our wonderful couriers, you'll receive a tracking number where you can check for updates on your orders journey, could be 1-3 working days depending on location, delays, weekends.

Are all products online, available in store?

Yes, All crystals are also available in store to purchase. We add stickers to the items we also have on our website so we know to remove these from our website if we sell them in store. Our website stock levels can sometimes fluctuate due to this. Please shop safely with the knowledge we will refund or exchange products if they are unavailable and not in stock, You will be contacted as soon as possible to notify you if your product is unavailable.
